Here's how to build your own Crossed TP cable:
Switch 1-2 and 3-6
(Details to come)
Ohh well, let's get back to the Ariadne card.
Turn of the Amiga
Open the chassi
Insert the Ariadne card in an available slot
Mount the card and screw the cassi on again.
Boot the Amiga and keep both mouse button pressed and make sure it's in the autoconfig.
Here's how it might look:

Note: I pressed help and went to MNI drivers to get an
list for my card.
Use the mni driver that fit your card.
Now press 'find boards' to scan for card's that use the MNI driver available on the Zorro bus.
It should find a card, like this:

Ahhh wohoo!. I found a Ariadne card :). Press ok.

Note that 'MNI Options' can be useful sometimes, like this to specify what Media to use, i.e 10base2 (TP). Press ok.
Ohh, and off we go to 'MNI parameters'. Click it and press 'Query device'
Something like this should pop up:

Don't mess with this numbers unless you know
what your doing.
Just basically press ok.
Horray !! We set up the network card :)), yet
we miss one very important thing.
We have to give the network card an IP address, and Netmask (and in some cases
an 'gateway').
Ohh well, 'I just pick any number that comes
to my mind'.
Don't even think about it.
If this is just your Amiga and PC/Amiga connected, use this table.
Amiga: Ip address 192.168.0.1 - Netmask 255.255.255.0
Pc: Ip address 192.168.0.2 - Netmask 255.255.255.0
Basicly you can use any number from 192.168.0.1
to 192.168.0.254,
just write down on a paper or at least rember what ip adress what has.
I set it up like this:

My network card has the ip address 192.168.0.4, netmask 255.255.255.0.
Don't mind that I enterd an value in the 'Gateway' section. If you don't need it, ignore it.
