I will now show you how to install and configure the TCP/IP stack and enable file sharing.
First we go to Control Panel:
Here we should select "Network" as shown here.

After we double click "network", we select 'add' and select 'Protocol'.

Not an rocket scientist to understand that we want tcp/ip.

Whohoo ! :), we proberly need the win9x install cd, and reboot. Just follow with it.
Everybody will be happy if we now have an tcp/ip protocol bound to an Network card as here:

Hilight as above the tcp/ip>Network card and this screen should come:

Yeah ! :), fill in the ip adress that the PC should have. make sure it's 100% correct. Click ok when done.
On the main 'Network' menu, press the 'File and print Sharing' button and hi-light like this, make sure this is enabled.

Go back to 'Network' main page and select the tab 'Identification'.
Make sure you fill inn the correct values:
Computer name:
This is the name you should logical use. It's should be identical as the "hostname".
Make sure you add this to the host database in Miami:
Workgroup:
Make sure this is 100% identical as what you have specified in smb.cfg on the amiga side.

Now reboot and make sure you don't get any error messages etc..
Now go to 'my computer', right click on of the drives/folders you want to share and click 'sharing'

Now this configuration screen will apear, and it's a pice of cake to share an folder.
Don't mess with password's yett :), keep it clean.

Use the command "net view" to have
a look at the shares on your mashines.
Everything on the pc side should ok now. It's time to have a look at the Amiga
side.
